We Tried On New In Highstreet Jeans So You Don't Have To

Picking a new pair of jeans is a task we seldom look forward to - with sizes seeming to vary wildly from brand to brand and often looking so different when we try them on to how they did in the pictures, fighting your way in and out of lots of styles can be a real nightmare.

Luckily we've put in the hard work so you don't have to. Our editors are trying on new in denim to help you pick your perfect pair - see Emily's lowdown below.

Weekday Frame relaxed fit cocoon jean

I like these as a comfy, casual jean, and the cut and fabric of Weekday denim always looks more expensive than it is. Currently reduced to £44 here.

Topshop flare jeans in mid-wash blue

Personally I don't like this stretchy jegging style fabric for jeans - they looks cheaper than it did on site - but the shape does make me want a pair of flares! £29.99 shop here.

French Connection ROLDANA DENIM 90'S GAUCHO JEANS

I love the ecru colour but for me style wise there's a bit too much going on, they maybe would suit a taller woman better. Also worth noting the size comes up quite big. £85 shop here.

Asos Design High rise 'Easy' Wide Leg Jean

I usually wouldn't wear a wide leg as I'm quite short but I love these! The quality seems great too. £38 shop here.

Vera moda high waist mom jeans

A blue rinse mom style jean is the style I'd usually opt for. This pair are perfectly fine, but I wouldn't rush out to buy them. £34.99 shop here.

Asos Design, High Rise 'Slim' Stretch straight leg

I really like the darker blue shade and the fit is nice for an everyday style. £32, shop here.
