#StyleMeShopStyle Episode 1: Elevated Tailoring

Making sustainable changes to your wardrobe and shopping habits can seem daunting, but we are here to help, with a new editorial series: #StyleMeShopStyle

Hosted by our in-house stylist Sarah Hildyard, we talk through key wardrobe staples and how to work them really hard within your wardrobe - essentially, how to buy less, wear key pieces more and stay sustainably chic.

In this first episode we’re talking everything tailoring, from laid-back everyday outfits, to date night tailoring looks – here are the pieces we’re shopping this season, and how to style them.

Floral Tailoring

Add a feminine touch to your tailoring look with a floral midi dress. Pair with some knee-high western boots, or trainers as the months get warmer.

Colour Pop Pieces

Add a flash of colour to your tonal neutral with a statement red jumper like this & Other stories number. Pair with the shoes of the season (loafers) and you’re ready to go.

Laid Back Tailoring

Dress down your tailoring for everyday by wearing with a simple white t-shirt, wide leg trousers and sneakers.

Terracotta Trousers

Brighten up your tonals by adding a statement piece like some pleather terracotta trousers – this high wasted style is guaranteed to lengthen your legs and make a simple outfit uber chic.

Night Time Tailoring

Take your tailoring with you to date night by adding super chic Bermuda shorts, some strappy sandals and a sleek black trench over your shoulders.

Triple Layering

When one blazer simply won’t do, add a textured shirt with a turtleneck underneath and throw an oversized check coat over your shoulders.

Snake and Leather

If you’re after a look to carry you from day to night, why not pair a leather midi with an oversized sweater over the top, and statement snake print boots? Throw your trusty blazer over your shoulders and you’ve got the perfect look to take you from desk to date night.
