Throughout London Fashion Week ShopStyle Europe teamed up with a number of wonderful style influencers who took over our Instagram for the day and gave our followers an insight into the exciting world of fashion week. During the takeover the influencers attended exclusive shows such as House of Holland, Self Portrait and Julien Macdonald providing us with a sneak peek for their upcoming SS20 collections.
Rachael Clifton aka @bubblyaquarius attended the Rixo presentation last Saturday. Creators Henrietta Rixo and Orlagh McCloskey took their love for seventies fashion to the extreme this season with a collection inspired by Woodstock, featuring psychedelic prints, clashing fabrics and a heady dose of flower power.
House Of Holland
Influencer Rosie Butcher attended the House of Holland show on Sunday. Appropriately named ‘Dance The Pain Away’, the show was peppily sound tracked by Nick Grimshaw and exhibited a collection of pieces that reflected a 70’s disco meets 90’s rave exercise class.
Another show attended by ShopStyle and influencer Rosie Butcher on Sunday was Self-Portrait. Altering their signature silhouettes ever so slightly, Self-Portrait swapped nipped-waists and bustiers for looser styles such as exhibited A-line midi dresses and gowns that fell straight from the shoulder.
Our girl The Silk Sneaker was lucky enough to attend the Julien Macdonald show, which exhibited the Julien X Gabriela collection – a 40-piece capsule collection created by Julien and his friends Gabriela Gonzalez. The collection presents a heady and decadent journey into the world of contemporary luxury and high-octane glamour.
The Silk Sneaker gave us a sneak peak of Erdem’s Spring Summer 2020 runway show with her Instagram takeover on Monday. We saw the brand mixing their signature prints with larger than life bonnet and hats reminiscent of the Victorian era.
