- None more so than my friend Katie who inspired the sweatshirt and has faced more than her fair share of daily battles. Her three year old daughter Hattie has been bravely battling leukaemia for over a year now and has had to endure numerous hospital stays and round after round of lumbar punctures, spinal chemo and general anaesthetics. I happened to bump into her on a morning she was particularly distressed:
- 'For the 300th time my Hattie got admitted to hospital I almost had a melt down at the school gates when I couldn't speak about how annoying it was any more....and seeing as gin and tonic at 9am is frowned upon I asked please someone make me a "Not Today" badge!!!! This is my "I can't handle the world today" jumper, its meant with all the love but not today peeps!'
