Care & Info Suede & Nubuck – The first thing to do is spray them with a protector available from most high street Shoe Repairers/ High Street Shoe Stores. You will also be able to purchase a suede combo-brush, which has a nylon bristle; this will remove any dust and dirt. A universal cleaner is always advisable to have, and can be used on both suede and nubuck. Always follow the instructions on the care products for best results. Leather Soles – Leather soles are a natural product and are porous in wet conditions. It is not advisable to wear any leather sole shoe or boot in wet weather. We will not accept responsibility for any leather sole item worn in wet conditions as this is at the customer’s own risk. After a period of time, the sole will wear away (even in normal conditions) making it necessary for the sole to be repaired, or for you to treat yourself to another pair. Lace and Delicate Materials – They look beautiful and feminine but must be treated carefully. Generally, these materials are not used on shoes designed to be worn daily rather they are intended for occasional wear due to their use of delicate materials. Glitter Materials - This delicate fabric can be damaged by friction, such as a full length dress on a shoe, or a bag brushing against a leg. With wear, the fabric will lose an amount of glitter and as this is the nature of the fabric, it is not considered to be a fault. If an area of the product becomes bald, the glitter cannot be reapplied. We therefore recommend glitter fabric merchandise is handled with utmost care. Do not treat with any liquids containing alcohol as this will cause permanent damage. We advise against wearing coarse glitter fabric against delicate items of clothing, such as chiffon, as the abrasive finish may cause snagging. We do not recommend treating with any liquids containing alcohol as this will damage the metallic finish. Avoid wearing this material in wet weather as this too can damage/ cause loss of glitter.
