Tarnishing is common with 9ct gold jewellery and this process is often accelerated by perspiration or perfume/hair spray etc. In order to avoid this, we advise that all 9ct gold jewellery is stored in a pouch/bag (dry atmosphere) and is polished regularly with a soft cloth to remove any early tarnish films and other contaminants. We also advise our customers to avoid spraying perfumes/deodorants directly on to their jewellery.
