Found in Co. Donegal this beautiful stone is rarely seen in jewellery. The rough material is selected by us in the field for its small pattern size and stunning dappled monochrome shades and is cut and polished by hand in the Alistair R workshop in Northern Ireland. These cufflinks have been an enduringly popular gift for many grooms and groomsmen, and can pair with a Donegal Granite lapel pin. The Bailey collection is made of a rectangular stone set into a minimalist channel setting in the bespoke Alistair R A-frame link. The link is designed with no moving parts to be easy to put on and sit comfortably all day. All Alistair R silver cufflinks are hallmarked with the Sterling Silver and Alistair R makers mark and packaged in a stylish cufflink box together with a gift envelope. We advise using the supplied case for storage and transport. Stones should be treated as fragile objects as they can chip or even break if dropped on a hard surface. Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals (including cosmetics, sun-screens, bleach, cleaning materials, etc) Only clean jewellery with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. Silver will tarnish gradually over time – a natural process. To remove light tarnishing use a soft lint-free cloth to gently buff the silver. Silver polish can be used very gently on the silver parts. Ensure that the stones are avoided as most semi-precious stones are porous and polish may penetrate the surface leaving permanent stains. Heavy tarnishing should only be dealt with by a professional jeweller.
