This blue jacket is a result of our cooperation with Goethe-Institut of South-East Asia. The jacket was designed by the fair fashion label Black Velvet Circus, which is based in Hamburg, Germany. Using handwoven cotton, the Studio Naenna weavers in Chiang Mai, Thailand, produce the dress and add traditional, artful embroideries of the Hmong People. Decorating their clothes with artful embroidery with fine cross stitches is a very old tradition of the Hmong People, which is still practised and passed on to younger generations today.
