Erdem Moralioglu's inspiration is always historical, and for Pre-Fall '19 he looks to '40s war artist Dame Laura Knight - the first woman to be fully elected to The Royal Academy of Arts in 1918, which is also where the collection was shot. This 'Shea' skirt is cut from wispy silk-voile abloom with painted flowers - the pattern is echoed on the slip underneath to create a layered effect. It's fitted through the hips before falling to swishy godet pleats, creating such elegant movement.
