The English Difference combines a long history of English knitting and manufacturing with defining aspects of British Culture. Made in the heart of the Midlands, the knitwear connects vintage sportswear with traditional knitting techniques. The English Difference Crew Sweat is made with the signature TED knitted loop back, an interesting play on the classic sportswear jersey made on loop wheel machines. Racking stitches have been used at the bottom of the garment to accentuate the use of flat bed knitting. The ribbed neck is set on and twin stitched as expected with vintage sweatshirting, and the rib at the sleeve and hem is knitted as one piece, utilising the knitting method. To further accentuate the use of flat bed knitting there is a racking stitch before the rib at the cuff and hem.
