In 1958 Riedel launched the very first 'wine-friendly' glasses with the Sommeliers Series, which were blown into a mould by glassblowers in Tyrol. The Superleggero Series uses the same technique and shape as the Sommeliers Series, but it's lead free (hence tougher) and features a slimmer aesthetic, making them super light.
