A collection of fibre and decorative pieces influenced by Modern Art, the Bauhaus Movement and XXth century design and architecture. In both her embroidered works and terracotta vases, Laura handcrafts, embraces and revisits the relationship between ancestral and artisanal techniques - such as embroidery - with a design aesthetics. She works with natural and ethically sourced yarns, like merino and alpaca wool, cotton and jute, and creates colourful geometric compositions, very often inspired by Bauhaus design principles.
