Overview Taking inspiration from the founding of Rome in 753 BC and the great rulers, magnificent buildings and cultural achievements of the 3rd Millennium, Graf von Faber-Castell has created the Pen of the Year fountain pen. Rendered in a tough anthracite-coloured PVD coating made of titanium, it is adorned with three segments of black marble and Nero Marquina, while Roman-themed laurel wreaths, the Colosseum and a miniature Roman penny decorate two PVD coated rings. Complete with an 18-karat gold nib for a luxury finish, it is limited to 330 fountain pens making ita pen to covet.
