Kahrs' Avanti range of wood-engineered flooring is a good entry-level choice and suitable for all rooms in your home except bathrooms. It comprises 7x half-inch (13mm) 3-strip floors made from spruce/pine and has a lacquered oak finish, in either matt or satin. Each plank measures 2423 x 200mm, giving you a total area of 3.4m2 with a wear layer of 2.5mm. You can install it on a level, solid surface such as concrete or wood and you can glue it down. This Avanti range can also be sanded 2-3 times during its lifetime. Includes 20-year warranty.
