If you wish to make the Zoom tandem suitable from birth, simply add a combination of optional carrycots or Group 0+ infant car seats which are available separately. If you already have a Maxi Cosi, Cybex or Kiddy group 0+ car seat, one simple pair of adaptors can accommodate all three brands and allows the Zoom to be used from birth without purchasing an additional car seat. As your children pass 6 months of age, they can be introduced to the seat units. With the Zoom’s impressive amount of seating options you would imagine that the chassis would become unmanageable, but ABC Design have used their German engineering know-how to ensure that the Zoom's manoeuvrability isn’t compromised in the slightest. Its lightweight chassis may be large, but the newly designed puncture-resistant, high-density foam wheels run freely on high-quality ball bearings. A convenient locking clip means that the Zoom can be transported without it accidently unfolding. The included seat units are suitable from 6 months and recline in 3 different positions with carefully designed backrests to provide the perfect angle for back support and adjustable footrests for extra comfort. The presence of luxuriously padded seat units, shoulder pads and crotch pads mean ultimate comfort and safety for little ones. The crotch pad folds over to cover the buckle of the 5-point safety harness for extra peace of mind and prevents the pad from slipping down. Hood also provides UPF 50+ protection throughout. The included bumper bars offer extra safety. For that final piece of protection, the Zoom features a large raincover which covers the pushchair in any seating configuration.
