The lightest technical trail competition shoe! The MTR 201-II is very direct and light. The IP EVA midsole provides good cushioning and has a heel drop of 6mm. The Stone Protector and D3O® Strobel construction make sharp stones barely noticeable. This competition shoe also features the patented Rolling Concept®, which provides prone and supine support as needed. Other features include the aggressive gripexTM Sonar tech sole with integrated Sonar technology, Base Fit Advanced® with improved efficiency, memo foam, VentTechTM lining, as well as the handy Advanced MTR Speed Lace System.
Another new development in the very successful Redburn family. In contrast to its older siblings, it incorporates a slightly stiffer insole, a more grippy Sticky Rubber compound, a Poro wedge and a conventional tongue construction. All other components and the comfortable fit are identical to the Redburn models: patented Mammut® Base Fit lacing transfers power to the soles and prevents pressure points and slipping in the boot. The high-grip gripexâ"¢ Cougapproach sole developed by Mammut® ensures safety and comfort on ascents. The high breathability of the open-pored 3D liner fabric guarantees a pleasant temperature. Rubber and velours leather reinforcements are combined with board lasting for protection and durability.
