Vitra ESU Shelf By Charles And Ray Eames. This iconic post war shelving system, originally developed in 1949 by Charles and Ray Eames, has been given a fresh and contemporary look with a new defined colour composition and reconfigured dimensions. Dutch designer Hella Jongerius and the Eames office have carefully chosen a colour palette that still celebrates the design spirit of the late 1940s and early 1950s, as well as introducing new ESU configurations. Consists of a black powder coated frame with Birch plywood shelves and coloured lacquer screens. Feet can be levelled individually.
