There is a combination of movement and sparkle on these beautiful 1950s Trifari clip-on earrings sourced by Susan Caplan Vintage. The design is crafted from sculptured silver plated swirls with prong set round cut clear Swarovski crystals. In addition, movement has been provided with the addition of duets of oval cut crystal drops. The earrings are signed Trifari. Trifari created some of the most desirable costume jewellery of the twentieth century, many of its designers having trained at Cartier. The company patented its own non-tarnish metal, calling it Trifanium and was first to copyright its jewellery designs.
