Almost three years in the making, Saucony's Guide 8 represent the brand's longest development initiative in their history with the aim of giving you the most comfortable and durable running shoe yet. Flex Grooves in the forefoot are designed to move with your foot, not against it. A redesigned medial midfoot system creates a smoother, stable ride, while the full decoupled SRC Crashpad reduces impact and levering effect. The Guide 8 is perfect for mild overpronators as well as neutral runners who just want a little extra support. Saucony have chosen to use an 8mm heel-to-toe offset to activate and engage your body's natural ability to cushion, stabilise and spring forward. The brand's testing showed that 8mm was the ideal offset for this shoe as it works with every runner's stride, no matter if you land on your heel, midfoot or forefoot. Extra cushioning is provided thanks to PowerGrid technology, cushioning the entire surface area of the foot to ensure optimal response throughout the stride. Weighing in at approximately 244g, the Guide 7 is impressively light in weight, meaning you'll be putting in less work through each stride, resulting in maximised performance.
