The stool comprises a solid elm\ moulded seating surface with tapered legs and a Windsor wedge joint that forms the sturdy structure and an eye-catching design component. It was originally designed and made in relatively low numbers in ercol's jig shop for designer's to sit on when they were sat at the drawing board. It can also be combined with the taller variation of the stool for an original look.
