The Artisan Maximum Extraction Juicer by KitchenAid uses a two-stage juicing process to provide fresh, healthy juice from fruits, vegetables and herbs. It first uses a stainless steel pre-slicing blade, and then an auger crushing system which uses a gentle, slow turning action to crush and squeeze juice from your ingredients, retaining more nutrition. This two-stage process also produces less foam in your juice. There are three pulp screens included for juicing a wide range of foods from smooth juices to thick jams. The Artisan juicer is constructed from die-cast metal and is strong, robust and built to last. Cleaning is easy with most of the parts being removable and dishwasher safe. An extra wide feed tube with hopper lets you juice larger ingredients and reduces pre-cutting. A reverse function lets you easily unclog food during extraction.
