The seat uses a protective impact cushion which is positioned in front of the child, and can be used until they weigh up to 18kg. This Kiddy impact shield helps to reduce strain on the body during a collision or severe braking. This second generation seat features improved materials for better energy absorption. The lateral areas have been cleverly designed with a geometric design to provide high performance protection. Made from an innovative 'Honey Comb' material, this new type of shock-absorbing insulation material will protect the head and shoulder areas. It is particularly effective in the event of side impact, and will absorb shock. The seat can be adjusted vertically and horizontally with one hand, allowing for the most comfortable position, no matter how much your child has grown. The seat is also designed to be held in position using the car's standard 3-point seat belt. When using the protection shield (Group 1, 9-18kg) the seat can easily be popped into the snooze position and the headrest is easy to adjust for total comfort. There are also three stage leg extensions to support your child's back and legs. There is a foldable and removable insert cushion that can be adjusted as your little one grows.
