Nick Brown, an NYC-based Londoner, got inspired when he realized his adopted city was severely lacking in the classic espadrilles he grew up wearing as a kid. He set out to recreate the easy fit and lightweight construction of the original designs but improved their comfort by offering a true left and right foot (old-school styles have an identical left and right). Soludos' exclusive-to-J.Crew version features a canvas body with a sun-faded finish.
