Each suitcase from Globe-Trotter's Orient collection is hand-crafted by a single, master Japanese artisan working from his studio in Tokyo. The urushi lacquered finish is derived from the rust coloured sap drawn from the urushi tree native to Japan, which has been used in traditional Japanese arts as far back as 4000BC. This suitcase features hand-moulded corners with polished gold , a luxurious silk lining and two base wheels for easy transportation. Perfectly poised for modern day expeditions, this bespoke piece will be a prized heirloom.
