This ultra-safe Isofix seat is easy to install. The BeSafe iZi Combi is a brand new 'combination' seat lets your child sit facing rearwards until 4 years of age, which is recommended as a safe sitting position. In the event of an accident, sitting rearwards helps to spread the impact evenly across the body which reduces strain on the back and neck. In the rearward position, the seat secures to car's Isofix points and in the forward facing position the car's seat belt is used to secure the car seat. The BeSafe iZi COMBI seats then allow children to sit forward facing as well, when the time is right. Forward facing, the BeSafe iZi Combi has advanced belt routing, making it very easy to install correctly and securely. Group 1, 9-18kg in the forward facing position and groups 0+ and 1, 0-18kg, in the rearward facing position. BeSafe recommend that children remain sitting in the rearward facing position for as long as possible, for maximum safety, up to 18kg. BeSafe recommend this seat is used for children who can sit upright, making it suitable from 6 months.
