Automatically heated to 195°, stylists simply have to quickly touch the plates together three times to take it down to 165° and it cools to the new setting immediately. The C9 Touch automatically switches off after 30 seconds of inactivity but simply start using it again and it automatically comes back up to temperature. This works to cut power consumption down to a fraction of any other iron.
