Cassina LC1 Armchair Black Leather with Chrome Frame by Le Corbusier. Designed by Le Corbusier in 1929, the LC1 is one of the most iconic armchairs in the world today. With its simple lines and gently reclining back rest, its profile is unmistakeable. Produced by Cassina, the only authorised producer of Le Corbusier's range of designs. The frame is made from tubular chromed steel elements, none of which create a closed form. The gently reclining back support allows the user to gain maximum comfort as they adjust the position to suit them. The seat and back are self-supporting thanks to the tautness provided by a series of springs on the reverse. The armrests are made from two complimenting straps that provide support with just enough give for comfort. Each piece is stamped with the signature of Le Corbusier and it's serial number, confirming its authenticity. W60 x D65 x H64cmSeat height: 40cm Vacuum regularly to avoid build up of dust.
