The Angelcare AC401 baby monitor comes with a special sensor pad that is placed under the cot mattress to detect every tiny movement your little one makes and for extra peace of mind an alarm will sound if no movement is detected for 20 seconds. The movement sensor can also be temporarily deactivated when you lift baby from the cot to feed or change them to prevent the alarm from sounding. The parent unit is portable so mum or dad can move freely around the house but still monitor baby's room and an out of range alarm will sound to alert you that you are no longer connected to your baby's unit. The parent unit features a colour LED screen which will display a number of monitoring features so you can keep a close eye even if the parent unit is on mute and it will also display the nursery temperature so you can ensure it is not too hot or cold.
