Alexander McQueen 4253SAlexander McQueen 4253S sunglasses celebrate the 10th anniversary of an emblem. The skull scarf became iconic to McQueen since first appearing on the spring/summer 2003 runway. 3D silver metal skull appears on the corner of each lens as part technical, part embellishment. A skeleton’s spine is a literal extension to the skull hinge. With a crystal acetate layer in front and burgundy tortoise behind, the silver metal spine slices through the core. McQueen was fascinated with the spine. The Spine Corset, created in metal, had the spine extended with a tail attached to a rib cage. This was displayed over the dress in the spring/summer 1998 collection. McQueen wanted to show the beauty of the bone structures. The rectangular is crafted from tortoise acetate, but paired with burgundy lends a gothic feel. All Alexander McQueen sunglasses come with a one year manufacturer's warranty.
